Man, Society, and Freedom

  • Liberals advocate for the State just as much as other ideologies.
    • Liberals goals are basically to become the bourgeoisie.
    • People are individuals who create things like society.
      • “Contract” with the state.
      • Society is a mass of individuals
  • People do not really thinking for themselves.
    • Lack of initiative will not lead to revolt.
    • Repeating what society instills in them
  • Society tells people who they are
  • Freedom is freeing yourself from the external
    • But people need social connections
    • To be free is to recognize that other people are free
    • Right to refuse to obey any other man
