Man, Society, and Freedom
- Liberals advocate for the State just as much as other ideologies.
- Liberals goals are basically to become the bourgeoisie.
- People are individuals who create things like society.
- “Contract” with the state.
- Society is a mass of individuals
- People do not really thinking for themselves.
- Lack of initiative will not lead to revolt.
- Repeating what society instills in them
- Society tells people who they are
- Freedom is freeing yourself from the external
- But people need social connections
- To be free is to recognize that other people are free
- Right to refuse to obey any other man
