The Ghazal

Ghazals are a form of poetry, usually consisting of couplets. The rhyming scheme may differ from poem to poem but it is not unusual to see AB AB AB rhyming schemes. Repetition of line ending words is also common. Usually these poems are wrote in devotion to God, to someone, to nature, to an ideal, etc.
